USB soundcard with BF2 hardware support?

Does such a thing exist?

I have an Audigy 2 USB sound card at the moment (because the Shuttle SN25P's onboard sound is rubbish!) but it doesn't support hardware rendering on BF2 (well, the otherway around really).

I'd love to get a USB sound card that supports bass boost, mic boost and hardware rendering on BF2.

Any suggestions?

The SN25P has excellent onboard sound imo. Via Envy24PT - lovely.

I could never get both a good level of bass and mic boost despite trying every combo of drivers. Maybe the difference is that I use headphones rather than speakers?

You probably should be using a headphone amp, do you have any powered speakers with a headphone jack on them you can use to test the theory? The onboard probably can't provide enough power to drive a decent pair of headphones by itself.
