Can a routers port forwarding brake?

I have tried lots of times to forward port 25565 and a few weeks ago it worked I then turned it off for a bit and turned it on a few weeks later and could not connect to the game server I forwarded it on port 25565 192.168.0.1.6 and no luck multiple times the routers the virgin media hub the one below the super hub.

This is the problem with ISP routers, total garbage.

The IP of the device may of changed. Try setting a fixed IP in the notsosuperhubs DHCP setting set it by MAC adress. Then the portforwarding will stick. Also save it. The hub is prone to crashing and may of lost your settings.

Not only that is that they can reset if the ISP pushes out new firmware, this is what they do now.

Maybe its your 5 octet ip address

Perhaps the NAT table is full. Some routers with only a small amount of memory can not hold more than 1000 sessions.

If you haven't done it yet, try to reboot or powercycle the router and check settings again
