Following on from some recent claims of the prowess of certain chips in this very forum I thought it may help to post some actual benchmarks! ill be running some tests on my i7 5820k/X99 setup in the next couple of days and am open to suggestions for tests to run. If you have a Sandybridge i5 and want to pitch in please be my guest!

Only real rules are as follows...

1) suicide runs to grab a CPU-Z screeners don't impress me much.... reall word stability and usability please guys and gals!

2) being able to very marginally beat another chip in very few scenarios doesn't qualify for 'ruining' the other CPU especially if your chip gets beaten (often quite heavily) in a wide range of alternate tests!

Let the battle commence!
