Need a laptop(under £400) to play high def movies on my 37" hd tv. i have a blu-ray drive which i plan to put in caddie and use. any suggestions.

anything with a X3100 Intel integrated graphics card and 1.7/1.8Ghz Dual Core should play HD content. I've found the Asus Notebook X51L-AP065C Dual Core T2390 should work fine. I used to play HD content with my T5250 (1.46Ghz 677FSB) and X3100 integrated graphics. it does struggle with 1080p with that CPU, so i upgraded to a T7100 (1.8Ghz 800FSB)

hmms I have an x3100 GPU in my laptop, and claims to be HD compatible, though I havn't tried it, nor do I have the inclination to do so.

Currently very happy with DIVX, when I get myself a 50 inch plasma TV, I might consider HD then.
