Hello ,

Im very new to the wirless thing but i managed to set up my own network at home with great ease ( pat's self on back :p )

The thing is i have had to move both my PC's in to one room for a short time so i decided to just connect to the net with one PC via a router and im using a USB network adapter on the other PC .

As the 2 PC's are in the same room i thoght i would just sit the USB adapter on top of the router thus giving me a tidy room and a strong 100 % connection ... this work's ok ..but..

I have noticed over the last 2 or 3 days i seem to be getting a lot ofheadaches and it got me thinking about how the radio waves affect you at close range ?

The hard wired router is sitting right in front of me and the USB adapter is sitting right on top of the router ... so with the signal not having to travel far , Is it possible that the extra siglan may be causing me headaches ?

If anyone has an answer to this i would appriciate it , If anyone can tell me a way to maybe turn the signal down i would appriciate that too .

Am i just being silly ?

/ sitting here witha tin foil hat on head :D

Think about it. Radio waves go through you and everybody every day. Mobile phones and TV's give off mooe than your wireless. I severely doubt it's due to the radio waves, more to do with you staring at a screen setting it up :p

So i can take the tin foil hat off then ? :D

It was just somthing that made me think about how the radio wave has such a high strenth and with me allmost sitting on top of it .

I understand what your saying about the radio waves but thoght i would ask the question , Have any experiments been done regarding safety of wifi that might explain the radio wave thing better ?

Just think about people sitting in Radio broadcast towers :\. If it hurts you then they're in trouble.
