Can a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Run All Android Apps Properly?

Looking at buying a new phone because I need a more recent version of Android for apps.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 has the OS "MIUI 14 based on Android". Apparently it should run all Android apps fine, but is this really the case? I don't want to run into compatibility problems with apps.

Also, any recommendations for other Android phones around £200 to 250.

Thanks

Is this a UK supplied UK region OS or global or CN region.

It's banking and other secure apps that have the most issues If not UK market.

Buying from below you won't have issues. Other resellers inc Amazon don't always give domestic products.

Note 13 Pro+ only £200 from their UK store at mo.

OK, so I would buy it direct from Xiaomi UK in that case. So, you're saying all payment apps, including NFC payment, should work on these phones just as well as on pure Android?

Thanks

It'll work. MIUI is the skin on top of Android, so every app will still work, especially if it has the Google Play Services on there (access to the Play store for example).

There's not really any phones with "pure" Android these days anyway. Samsung has OneUI, OnePlus with OxygenOS, even Google's own Pixel line has strayed away from AOSP Android (the stock clean version). But in the end they're still Android underneath.

Yes as you have full access to Play Store and nfc etc.

It's a very fair question though as lots have bought non UK variants of the Xiaomis etc inc from Amazon resellers / eBay over the years which causes the issues and forum/socials noise on apps not working or being unsupported etc. Plus other Chinese brands that simply don't support Google Play store.

Official Xiaomi UK market phones are brilliant value.

Currently looking at the Xiomi Redmi Note 14 Pro, and re charging it says:

"No power adapter included in the box. Recommend to use 45W power adapters that support PD charging, or Xiaomi official power adapters of 67W or above."

I have the quite old charger from my Moto G5 Plus, is this going to work with it?
