Noticed this signature by chance on a vintage copper decorative bowl in loft just wondering what it says and whether it can at least identify origin?

Yes i'm guessing just a signature but hoping can reveal country of origin as it came to me a while ago via a South African antique shop

From my scant knowledge of Arabic, it is not a word, but a series of initials.

In order to know who the maker actually is, and where it's from, you would need a specialist. It's very unlikely anyone on this forum could tell you that.
