Can anyone explain clonezilla server to me?

Afternoon all,

Right I've got Clonezilla Server/DRBL working on Ubuntu 10.10 x64. I've saved several disk images for my machines and imaged 20+ laptops/desktops. Both in multicast (did 4 at a time due to switch limitations)

The thing is now I've come back to do some more it seems to have...broke...sort of & I haven't a clue how to fix it because I haven't a clue how it works.

If I run...

sudo /opt/drbl/sbin/drblpush -i
then
sudo /opt/drbl/sbin/dcs

...enough times, I can get it working again for a single image but drblpush -i has to download the clonezilla live iso every single time. Sometimes I can get it to work for 'select in client' allowing me to decide if the machine I'm on is a save-disk or restore-disk, other time it'll work for the pre-selected options (so the machine when booted to pxe goes straight into restore/save mode)

The main error I get is on the laptop being imaged:

mount call failed - server replied: Permission denied

Repeated over and over for a indefinite amount of time during the network boot.

So to get to my point - how does Clonezilla Server actually work? I assume it mounts the clonezilla live iso to a drive which drbl somehow gets to the laptop requesting the pxe boot? The from it's a case of transferring the image to the machine.

Also, is it actually possible for me just to setup my server just so when a computer is pxe booted, it pops up with clonezilla live asking what I'd like to do? (happy with this to be unicast) As I say I've achieved this many times but it take quite a few attempts at the same process.

TIA.
