Can't for the life of me get them 'out'

Explorer can see them, but all other programs I've tried cannot 'see' them, when you browse to the file to select a new icon, it shows them (as seen here)
icons.png

I want to have them all in their own icon files (black.ico, blue.ico) etc..

If anyone can help, would be awesome :)

Hmmm, I tried to open it with Iconpackager Explorer to no avail. However, if you just want to recolour folders have you tried iColourfolder? It seems to utilise the icons you are after.....

i'm after a black explorer folder icon (for something i'm working on) but would be handy to have them all

-edit, thanks for that, had a dll that had all sized icons in it (but it doesn't have a dark black icon, i guess i'll just have to edit the ones i've got from there)

thanks again :)

Tried Stardock's icon editor?
Looks like you're using WindowBlinds, & AFAIK this has a nasty habbit of storing things funninly.

couldn't for the life of me find that app again, i took the icon file from it months ago, and have been using desktop.ini files to use the icons

-thats the same file i have uploaded.. can't open it with anything :S

found two icon programs that'll open it, but they only manage to extract the 48x48 icon

Very odd, just looked a little closer & found the solution. Rename the file with an .icl extension, and Stardock's IconDeveloper will open & play with it just fine, but with a .ico extension nothing wants to work. I'd speculate that all the apps are using the same Windows library somewhere, which doesn't take kindly to the wrong extension.

All the colors as induvidual icons. You'll need something that lets you select the size of icon in use, but they're all in there :)

If you want any variations on that, its no problem.
