Hey guys, I have a thread in the hardware forum on the subject, but this is software related. Basically, can someone provide me with help/websites which guide me to updating the firmware, installing os x?
I have downloaded the required firmware but cannot find the firmware updater icon that is apparently supposed to be there (according to apple's website) I have no idea where it is.
Also I have a disk image of 10.3. The file is a .dmg and have tried to create it to a boot disk b ut when I boot up the imac and press c with the disk in it just comes up with a white screen (of death).
I have no idea what to do, havent owned a mac for 10 years and never did this kind of stuff on it! Heh. HELP!
