I have decent setup with a mild overclock on the processor (4.2ghz) but GPU's at stock, it scores a consistent 10,600 in firestrike.
My problem is this, after I play BF3 for around 20 mins I get a fps drop of around 20fps and although this doesn't by anymeans make it unplayable the gameplay starts to feel choppy, not so much me but the enemies seem to slightly warp making aiming a bit more difficult.
I have 3 monitors, have afterburner and hardware monitor running at the same time on diff screens so i can monitor in realtime. nothing out of the ordinary occurs when the slowdown happens, the VRAM usage is consistent, the temps on each gpu are 74c, the processor is around 65c. Clocks on the GPU's remain at their constant boost 1058mhz, its weird.
Initially I thought it was a BF3 problem but if I leave game and run firestrike again, I now score 9,700 so ive lost 1000 points somewhere and I cannot get them back until I restart my machine and voila everything is normal again.
The reason I post today is because previously this only happened with BF3 but I was playing with the new ShadowPlay feature today and when I activate it I don't initially see any fps drop but whilst running 3DMark for a few mins the same slow down that I get from BF3 after 20-30 mins happens again.
If I turn shadow play off, it doesn't make a difference I've lost the 1000 points until I reboot my machine again.
Apologies for the long explaination and overall weirdness of the question!!!
