Can Anyone Help Me With Norton Ghost Please

I've downloaded the trial version of Ghost 15.

The instructions state it's very important to have an emergency boot CD.

There's instructions how to create a 'customised' CD, but even for that it refers to using the original installation CD!

How could I use a CD when it's a downloaded product?

Can any Ghost users tell me if it can be made from within the software, and if so, how?

Many thanks for any help you can offer.

Many thanks for the link, but I'm affraid that states exactly the same as I said previously; In number 4 it says to "Insert the Symantec Recovery Disk CD in the CD/DVD Drive".

I would only have that disk had I purchased a boxed version.

From the page...

If you have the CD version of Norton Ghost, then your Installation disk is your Symantec Recovery Disk. - Not you ;)

If you have downloaded the ISO image of the Symantec Recovery Disk, you can burn it to a CD. You can burn the CD using any CD/DVD burning program or extract the contents of the ISO file to a folder. - This

You need to download the image and burn it yourself - I'm not sure if Symantec have included the image as part of the trial. When you buy online you get two links, one for the product and another for the Symantec Recovery Disk.

Ah right.

I downloaded mine a 3rd party website. Don't even remember where now, I just 'Googled' it.

My download is not an ISO file, it's an EXE (i think).

Guess i'll just have to look harder on the Symantic site for a direct download.

Many thanks for the help
