Pics taking a time to download for me but from the 1st pic, it looks like a heatsink for the ram? This needs to ideally stay on unless the new cooler has something or someway to keep them cool instead?

Thanks for the reply, the fan on the cooler has holes over the space, possiby with the intention of cooling those components... I have fitted the fan and can take a picture if needed.

I'd watch those temps just to be sure, also maybe put another fan blowing at that part of the card just to be sure

You mean a side case fan of some sorts?

Yeah, or a just another case fan aimed/close-ish to the back of the card. If your case has good cooling it may be alright but I'd want some cooling on those chips as they can get quite hot.
