hi,

i want to upgrade but as i only play cs:s and do a bit of encoding now and then i dont know if its worth the outlay to C2D so....

i'm wondering if anyone with a C2D @ 3ghz (approx) and an x1950pro who also has CS:S could do me a huge favour?

run these 3 timedemo's and let me know what results you get please?

the settings i used were max ingame settings, 4xAA + QAA 16xHQAF @ 1600x1200. i dont use an fps config either.

ok 50 views and no-one has a c2d, x1950pro and cs:s,

well anyone that has a c2d and cs:s then, can you try those time demo's for me?

dont really matter what gfx card then as i'm cpu limited anyway, so come on all those who say c2d owns the x2 in games. back up those claims and show me what ya got
