I was wondering how hard it is and what is involved? I have a loose grasp of assembler, when I'm trying to achieve is to change the brightness levels on my laptop.
I've recently upgraded my Acer Aspire One to the latest BIOS, and the screen does not dim as much as it used to.
Is this fixable with a little reverse engineering?
