A bug attacked the girl friend this evening which was quite funny

Can anyone identify it, larger than most i've seen in the uk...

Yup a may bug, I'd never seen one before until I was attacked by one the other week, the poor thing had a useless sense of direction!

mayfly... not too fond of them since they look similar to cockroaches, their larve also make a mess of your lawn iirc
