Can anyone identify this component

Hope this is the appropriate place to post

(Edit - I probably should have posted in "General Hardware") Sorry mods!

Can any electrical aficionado's identify these two components? They both match.
I've tried to google the number on them if that given me any info but unfortunately it doesn't.

Seems like someone has attempted/replaced those 2 as you can tell by the solder and they are not straight and both different Hight's lol,

On the negative side - that solder looks awful with an "igloo" shape (round ball) which means it's not flowed/been applied correctly and is more than likely making a poor electrical connection.

It looks like a tantalum capacitor. It's usually recommended to use higher voltage ratings than necessary to avoid them going pop which yours appears to have done (or the old one at least).

It isn't clear from your image but looks like one of those is soldered on the wrong way around.

Only guessing from the image but maybe Schottky Diode SS34?

EDIT: Writing on the component would make it more clear but as a guess it is probably 40V SS34 and one of them is possibly the wrong way around (possibly intentional to bypass voltage or wattage limits but seems a bit odd).

If it is it should be replaceable with any similar spec 1N5822.

Yeah I think you're right about it being a diode with the PDxxx labelling. Post a close up of the text OP.

The filled in thicker bit at one end on the silkscreen marking is sometimes used for polarity marking on diodes but it is a bit of an inconsistent/less common one.

But not clear what the part numbers are either but tends to suggest one of those is soldered on wrong.

Yeah it does look like PD811 has been soldered in the wrong way around, whatever isn't working might be fixable just by re-soldering them properly.

Cheers for your reply guys really appreciate it,I actually got it for £4 posted sold as faulty, And me been me and i like collecting Graphics cards & PCBs in general but it was sold as faulty.

i asked the guy what was up with it, He just said it was fine then stopped giving out an output to the monitor, And upon receiving it i had a look and that stood out like a sore thumb.

I don't know if fans still spin as there was no cooler included its JUST the pcb but i could test it without the cooler as i have plenty of heatsinks to briefly test it.
Id love to attempt a repair on it, I do have a little soldering experience but i just don't know what those parts where or if they are cheap enough to give it a go at fixing.

AFAIK any 40V 3A Schottky barrier diode (SX34) should work in that position - not sure it has to be that spec specifically but don't know the circuit well enough to be sure of required range.
