Can anyone identify this spider?

Came across this out my back today. It had made an absolutely massive web and was quite aggressive whenever I poked it with a stick. Seemed quite dangerous to be honest.

Missing sector orb web spider

House bound: The Missing Sector Orb Web spider often ventures indoors

Also known as Zygiella x-notata, this spider is named because it spins an orb web with one full sector missing.
With a size of up to 15mm, this arachnid is relatively small and is common around Britain's houses and gardens.
The spider, which is not harmful to humans, can be distinguished by its pale body and legs, with silvery-grey markings on its abdomen.
Usually seen indoors in the autumn and winter months, this spider prefers warmth and is most common in areas around Leicestershire and Rutland.
How big are they? Up to 15mm
Are they harmful? No, not at all

My sister killed it. She did not like the idea of it having babies and them potentially coming in to the house.

I didn't mind as it wasn't doing me any harm but she went mental and insisted on killing it.
