My Archo gmini XS200 has just been sent back as it's giving me "read error" messages and playing up (shutting down mid track, not playing some tracks unless I reload them etc etc), and I suspect I'll be getting a refund as it's not a model sold any more.
So, can anyone recommend a player that
Costs £100-150
Plays MP3's
Does NOT use any silly software to load the songs onto it (I want straight forward plug and play, the ability to copy the tracks/folders straight over from any machine).
Can have the music sorted by folders (as that is how I have it sorted on my PC).
Storage of 5gb+ is pretty much a must (the Gmini was 20gb and didn't hold all my music as I encode it at high bit rates)
