Can anyone recommend one? It's for home use but my current one unmanaged is a bit crap.

I figured a 16 port managed switch would allow for better expansion :)

HP1810's are pretty good for the money, though they don't do a 16 port model so you'll be after an 1810-24G.

The 1800-24G which is the predecessor often comes up for a good price on the popular auction site :)
 
I got the below one. I have connected to it a PS3, Sony Bravia TV (with internet features) Sony Blu Ray player (with internet features) and everything works fine and I still have spare ports for future use :)

I just connected the Ethernet cable from my router to it and then the other Ethernet cables from the various devices and it worked straight away and like anything else Belkin sell, it has a lifetime warranty.
