Can anyone recommend a good quality office chair?

My PC chair has died.

It has served me well over the last 4 years but alas my 6` 7" 19.5 stone frame has taken it`s toll.

Theres no end to suppliers of cheap and nasty fake leather office chairs and i don`t want to waste my money on these.

I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find really high quality office chairs?.

I want it as luxurously comfortable and robust as possible. Is this asking too much?

Any advice appreciated.

Same problem myself.

Only mine didn't las the year.

What happened was wor lass fell over her straigteners, launched herself at me while i was on the computer, grabbed onto the back of it, and the plastic arm that kept the back connected to the seat snapped.

A week or so later, i lent back, the other one snapped and i'm currently sitting on a base.

But then one of the wheels snapped off after it finally lost the 9 month batter with my rug.

The rug has taken some light damage, but mainly suffers from extreme creasing now.

So i'm looking for the same thing, but two main requirements for me:

A frame or structure not using the arms as its main support (you want to see how many are built like that)

No wheels whatsoever.

Might be worth a trip to Ikea... They sell some decent chairs, although some are a little pricey.

I think what they've got are just the same offering as argoos, but twice the price.

There's nowhere really good enough for chairs or desks IMO>
