Can anyone recommend a good tool kit for..

I'd also recommend iFixit.

I have the iFixit 64 Bit Driver Kit and found it has most screwdriver bits I've needed when messing with PC components.

Not sure about availability in the UK but Gamers Nexus do custom tool sets for GPU teardown.

Off the top of my head I think they are based on iFixit it hardware but I'd have to double check.

EDIT: Kind of expensive for occasional disassembly though but does make it a lot easier to do it properly and minimise chance for damaging the GPU.

I got the ifixit 64 kit as a prezzie.

Honestly, lovely kit to work with. I was under the impression a screwdriver is a screwdriver is a screwdriver, but they're not.

They do smaller kits though, the 64 has all sorts of extras you may not need.

Have a practically identical kit which is evidently from the same manufacturer just different brand. Needed something not just for different sized screws but also with very small hex bits for GPUs like some EVGA models. Doesn't cost the earth just £12 and has been very handy.

Nice looking kit. You've just made me want to go out and spend £12! I could do with one of these to leave at my in-laws' place for when I invariably need to fix something over there.

Ooh, nice find.

Not that i need a secondary kit but what does 'need' have to do with anything. :)

+1 for the mobile phone kits as pictured above. You'd be amazed how much you use it for and how nice it is to have handy. So spend a little more than the basic cash - my £10 one is now 10 years old and just about needs replacing from wear.
