For a desktop PC?...

I have a Quickcam for Notebooks Pro for my Laptop, the picture quality is excellent. My brother has one as well and when we chat on MSN the picture quality is second to none.

I'm after a webcam that has the same picture quality for my parents PC as their Quickcam Messenger doesn't even compare...

Any suggestions?...

I thought the Sony Eye was for a PS2?......

Surely a webcam designed for a PC would be better?... Like one of those Logitech with CCD 1.3 Megapixel cameras?........
 
I've had a Sony Eye Toy (you need D-Link drivers to get it to work), and a Logitech 4000 webcam, image quality was about the same. Eye Toy was £5, Logitech was ~£40 :)

But the Eyetoy really is a PC webcam in disguise anyway.
Using one here aswell and its perfect quality for a webcam.
