Can anyone recommend a PC based Pokemon game for my son?

There's nothing really on the pc by them at all besides trading card game.

Pokon games are Consol or handheld only really.

There is ways to play these on pc but can't be discussed here

The only thing you could do is download the gameboy and gameboy colour/advanced emulators so he can play the Pokemon games from that era like ruby, sapphire etc.

This is what I did for my son and he enjoys them

There are a couple of Pokemon MMO games if you don't mind about the online aspect. Not sure which is the best one though, I haven't played one for a long time.
