thankfully i have the money handy to do this but some are £1500, others are 2500 and none of these sites have any costs on them that i've seen.

maybe, (well deffo) but i want something i can rely on. some would be good, others - horrible.

rather stay here. have the money for the implant already, just not sure where is best/cost effective in liverpool

Hop on a plane and get some of those gnashers that the "celebs" get in Turkey... Just make sure you know what you are getting done..
The ones claiming they didn't know what was happening and end up with Turkey Teeth are probably airheads who paid no attention at all

Ask this guy:

May I ask why you are limiting yourself to a dentist in Liverpool? Of all the cities in the United Kingdom I have to be honest and say seeking a medical professional specifically from Liverpool would not be something I would limit myself to, even if I lived in the place. I travel 70 miles each way to a decent dentist, and would happily go further if he retired. You obviously care about your gnashers, why not treat them to a trip out of the metropolis?

i don't have a car and don't much fancy taking a train in case of strikes and possibly looking like Quasimodo on the way back

Hey Tomos.
I visited this guy last year for some extensive work, I now look slightly less ugly.
Really good, really chilled, no pressure which was a big bonus for me as I have had some terrible experiences with dentists in the past.
Just off Allerton Road by the Starbucks.

The work could pay for itself if you get a gold filling and price booms, also Im told it really is the best material as it never goes brittle.

Sounds serious anyway, give us an update /rundown when you are back feeling 100%

Prescot House Dental Surgery or Roby Dental Practice are both absolutely fine and would do that if you'd hop on a 10A to Prescot or get the train out to Roby. Probably be fractionally cheaper than city centre too.
