Can anyone recommend me a £500-£600 TV?

I've been looking at 55" TV's and found a few with decent reviews such as:

Philips 55PUS7304
LG 55UM7510PLA

Samsung 55" TU8000

I could stretch my budget for a larger TV if it's not too much more.

Does anyone have any advice on these TV's? They all seem to have similar specs at first glance, do they use different types of panels?

Bit sceptical of FB marketplace tbh, what are decent 65" TV's? I'm in a situation now where I can spend a bit more money.

Thanks, that's the sort of thing I'm looking for, how do these compare to the major competitors like Sammy, LG, Sony etc. ?

They are the 3rd biggest manufacturer in the world after Samsung and LG ;) Seem to be big in America and just starting to get a foothold here now.

In 2019, Samsung held a 19.8% share of global TV unit sales, followed by LG with its 12.2% share and TCL with its 9.2% share

https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.p...019, Samsung held a,represented in the top 5.

Shows my ignorance then!

In terms of non QLED TV's in the same price range like:

LG 65UM7510PLA
Samsung 65TU7100
Philips 65PUS6754

Does it beat them hands down for picture quality, I've heard about things like local dimming? I will mostly be watching TV/Movie content on this display and not gaming as I already have a large gsync monitor, so that's not an important factor for me. One thing that I saw mentioned in the review was that the interface of the TCL TV was laggy though, that might irritate me, do you have any personal experience of using this product? Thanks.

I dont, they just seem good bang for buck. As always try to find a stockist will all the sets and take some of your own content on a USB to see how they look :)

For those price-points: Avoid Phillips they have poor reliability. LG is so-so. Samsung has a decent mix of picture quality & decent QA for their budget TVs. So either them or a Sony model (if near that price) would be best. Don't be afraid to get a last year's model either, picture quality has stayed the same mostly.
