Can anyone remember this on the Spectrum?

I have an emulator somewhere in my archive, specificlly to play this classic! :D

Twenty years ago, in my teens, a group of us used to play this to death after playing football... It often turned into a game of "spot the cheater," as it was down to trust on whether everyone else was looking away whilst you chose your spell and whether it was an illusion.

Oh god yeah i remember this!... i remember once i cast a REAL golden dragon ( needless to say i won the game ). Hahahah i remember how we had to turn round so you couldnt see if someone was casting an illusion or not :p

I remember someone did a remake on the atari ST using sounds from films like evil dead and highlander for the sounds :p awesome!

Im sure the original was just called "Chaos" and was done by games workshop.

edit: found it http://retrofinds.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Ah what a brilliant find! Nice one!

I used to absolutely love this, played it loads as a kid along with "The Hobbit" text adventure. Anyone else remember it? I could never get Thorin to stay in the sodding barrel... :)
