Can anyone tell me if it's possible to install a dishwasher?

I was told that since we're using the outlet pipe on the left for the washing machine, it'll be more difficult to install a dishwasher. Anyone know if it's possible to do, and roughly how much it'd cost?

Although I'd stump up the extra for the pukka McAlpine one as I've had a few dodgy FloPlast ones.
