IV my old pc sat in a cupboard and I'm just wondering if anyone can make use of any retro (ish) parts?
Before a mod removes me and this post I am not selling any of this, I am willing to give out the parts to anyone who wants them as I can't think of a reason to keep them myself, they were pretty high-end back then and rather than go to landfill I'd rather them be enjoyed/used.
Maybe if they are usable the recipient/s could make a donation to charity?
Here is the spec:
CPU:AMD X2 4400 (skt939)
Mobo: dfi nf4 ultra-d (sli modded) ocz Tony bios
2x1 Ocz platinum cl2.3.2.5 (yes timings were this tight once!)
Western digital raptor 74gb.
These are the main components I have left, the GPU (8800gtx) died and the psu (Corsair hx620) is a legend so I'll keep it for testing and sleeving practice for a future build
I have not powered it up in a few years but it worked fine last time I did, the question is is anyone interested?
