Can anything be done with this?

was given this yesterday by my neighbour i believe its out of a slimline hp pc but not certain, its an am2 mobo and has a sempron thats all i know. Was also given the cooler. Can anything be done with this?

I prob cant do anythin with it but it was worth a try they were binning it

well, if u have the spair drives you could add thos drives to this and attach it to your network (use it as a storage place for music files or movies rather then have all the loud HDDs in your living room or w.e u have u PCs)

yeh was thinking that what case and hdd would you reccomend? also its got like a small 24 pin connector not the normal size which power supply will fit this? never seen it before :confused:

As above, or get a cheap 2nd hand 8800GT/S and fold with it if you're into it. Or just build a 2nd pc with spare parts and donate it/gift to friends if you don't need it.

Also it has an unusual cooler mount for AM2 so you'll be stuck with that oem cooler.

hmm, search the mobo model, you should be able to find out whaat psuyou need, if its a sempron which model? as they are quite good clockers and can unlock to dual cores, id be tempted to rebuild if you can be bothered, something like this...... give me a couple of mins lol.

Total is £120, less if you have hdd, dvd drive etc, you can get a cheap gpu £10-£30 of the mm or something for gaming/hd playback and the sempron might unlock to a dual core too.
