Can AOL tell what Router im using?

Cos I wanna Migrate to them over the weekend but in order to qualify for the monthly contracts I need a compatible Wireless Router, I dont have one atm but could get one easily.... but Im using a Linksys Wireless router for BT...

You think its risky saying im using a netgear one when im not?

Thx, its just ive had 2 netgear 834s and both went duff within 2 months... hopefully this linksys ones tad better
