Can Chromecast audio handle Tidal hifi bitrate?

chromecast can handle it
but whether the hifi 96/24 stream is actually sent to it from tidal hifi maybe another story - I only use the analog output on CCA.
Not all the tracks can be 96/24 if they only came from CD's anyway. (do they upsample 44.1/16 before flac encode - lol)
There are supposedly some MQA benefits (some unwrapping) even for those without full MQA hardware decode playing back on local soundcard though.
local pci dac I use sounds better, but that maybe because it is a better quality dac.
There are some better quality CCA power supplies too, or a maybe a battery usb
