Major processor problem (Running too slow)

Mine says my amd x2 4200 is currents at 600mhz per core, and my ram is 100mhz and set to cpu/6 speed. Checking bios I cant see any proof of this and ram is set to the proper speeds. I dont get it. Gave me a heartattack when I saw it though!

Ofcourse :) Downloaded it fresh last night. Thats what i dont get. I also have it on another pc next to me that has the same ram and an amd phenom, but it reads them normal. Vista still says the cpu is at 2.2ghz and theres no speed adjustment thingamy in bios that slows it down out of use.

Infact I am wondering if this is linked to my other major problem : Here
This all happened after a blue screen yesterday and since then its been weird. Could something in registry be skrewed enough to cause these problems?

1.43 shows the same, damn. Is there any other program that shows your cpu speed? And if cpu-z is right, wtf is going on?!

ok boot up also says its a 4200, same as windows. but doesnt give a speed. SiSoftsays 600mhz.... I dont get whats going on here. At least vista is running smooth :p

ok gonna show screenshots of a barrage of tests I have done on gfx cpu and ram. Not worried about the ram majorly as its just set to be a certain percentage of the cpu, so fixing the cpu speed will fix the ram.

Please if you have any other suggestions or requests for tests let me know!

As you can see the tests prove the cpu is running way below normal and its not just a faulty speed readout

Same as the others:

Its pretty safe to say its out of the realms of program reading error and it is actually running that fast

Really got my hopes up for a min then with the vista inbuild thing but mine are both set to 100% :(
also my last post didnt seam to work, an update is I tried resetting bios to no avail. Also tried bios' fail safe settings and then optimal settings, no change.

*edit - Also the only settings I can find for the cpu in bios are to change it from 200mhz up to 300mhz. The ram settings I set to 800mhz instead of default but in windows they still register as 100mhz

Ah OK, my bad then :o

Nps it was the best hope so far :)
Also I had another poke round bios and although I cant upload the photos (lost phone cable) I def confirmed cool n quiet is disabled.

The options in bios for the cpu are:
CPU frequency (from 200-300) currently set at 200
K8<->NB HT speed (currently Auto)
K8<->NB HT width (also auto)

cmon people dont be shy, there must be a reason why this happened after a blue screen of death, so it cant be hardware based :/
Maybe I should just reinstall windows

Ok screw it, despite every program saying the performance is down I can still play full hd video. And you cant do that if yuor cpu is only 2x 630mhz, so it must be ok...
