Can delete file/folder

[Cheetah Designs]

Windows XP is giving me the error that the volume label syntax is not correct.

How do I delete the files (they are apple files that start in with a period)

Can't....they are not visible and I can't seem to find a way to make them visible either because after a quick google everything i tired didn't work.

Sorry bit of a noob....no idea what that means.

I think i might have to load a linux cd but don't really want to :S
