Can firefox open multiple homepages?

YES! I've seen it discussed before and someone pointed to an extremely handy extension/something. Just hang about and it should turn up.

:edit: either that or I'm losing it :(

Not meaning to hijack the thread here, but is there a way to make a new tab (ie Ctrl + T) automatically load my home page?

This multiple homepages feature is pretty useful, but when i open a new tab and press home (which usually loads google), it now loads the rest of my homepages aswell. I only want it to load multiple home pages the first time I open it :(

Butting in with another, subtly different one :p
When I open Firefox, I want my initial homepage to open- This is set to Netvibes, giving me a full set of e-mail messages, Ebay, news etc.
However, when I'm browsing, I want any new tab or press of the home button to take me to Google- Netvibes stays open as the first tab, and I really don't need any more instances of it. Adding it as the homepage causes it to open every time I press the home button, but this is the only way I can find to get it to open on startup.

not really the same, but just stick a google on your Favourites toolbar?

you could replace your usual firefox shortcut with a shortcut to a batch file that opened 4 pages in firefox, and just set your home page to google.

also: I never actually use google with firefox, just type stuff into the URL bar and it does an "I'm feeling lucky" or a google search

Just tested it out. Leave ** homepage with 8 pages ect.

Goto
>bookmarks
>Organise bookmarks...
>Bookmarks Toolbar
>If u rightclick and say "new bookmark" and put url in, it ends up as an icon between your tabs and your controls/address bar You must enter the new bookmark in the correct place or it wont show as an icon but as a normal bookmark just higher up. In the same "tree" with the other icons; it should make sence when u look at the layout.
