Can Fraps do this?

At work today, were having a Demo done remotely by some dude in America.
Hes going to be using Citrix's go-to meeting.
Were gonna have a conference call via Skype also.
If I run Fraps on our local machine, will it record the session and if so, will it record the sound as well?

ps: didn't know if Gaming or Software forum will be best to post in, since fraps is always used by PC gamers, mod move if you don't agree.

No it cant. It only records stuff in games/3d apps.

My memory is fuzzy, but at Uni i once used 'Camtasia Studio' to capture my desktop and an app i had helped to make. It works really well, and with the codec supplied (http://www.techsmith.com/download/codecs.asp i think) gives you tiny files. Whoever's viewing the video will have to have that codec though.
