I've recently OC-ed my GPU and found the stable core and memory speed, and so far none of the games crashed or showed any artifacts which previously happened which I knew was an unstable OC.

But recently, while doing nothing but watching YT videos my driver suddenly crashed and I'm curious can this be from the overclock or maybe there is something wrong with the drivers.?

The drivers used were NVIDIA's 385.41

both,
Ive seen even in 2d accelerated video with an oc crash and reset sorted

Also seen the latest drivers are not happy on my system so gone back to 382.85, but then im on a 980ti and playing older games so ...

One problem you can have is the transition between 2D and 3D states - on some setups the voltage change might not be fast enough to keep it stable.

It can easily happen on a driver by driver basis as well.
