I'm not sure if I've phrased that right, but the situation is that I've moved to the bigger room in the house and the signal on my PC and Xbox are suffering for it (they're both wireless obviously).
I've tried looking for signal boosters but so far what I found I either don't fully understand or seems to good to be true (pay a fiver for a disc shaped object and apparently get amazing signal).
I was just wondering if any of you use or know of a way to boost the signal? There is a second phone socket in the room and I know I can't just plug into it but maybe there is something that can be done with it? I can't move the router up here as this is a secondary PC and everyone else uses the downstairs one.
