Hi all

Looking at getting a 1050Ti to install in my budget build and was just wanting to know if i can just buy a nice colourful backplate to make the build look better or do i need to have specific graphics cards to have a backplate, Im no good at creative bits so making my own is a no go...

Any help appreciated
 
I remember hearing good things about Coldzero a couple of years ago with loads of people rocking GPU backplates he'd made. A quick Google for "Nvidia Custom Backplates" shows up a couple of other companies doing them too, but no idea how they are. I'm not sure if OcUK sell backplates so hopefully this won't count as competitor conversation. :)
 
Ill have to have a google for backplates and see if there's any uk manufacturers.. I see OCUK do backplates but not for my model
 
Coldzero did my 780 backplate very good price and service, just have a look on his website or get in contact if you have a particular design in mind.
 
One of those heat-shrinking gold foils would work well.
I'm assuming they're not conductive...... :P

For a 1050 I'm not sure it's worth the cost of a custom backplate, could it work to spend the extra on a better card with a backplate already on it?
