Knowing nothing about flight costs and which airline is best to go with I just wondered if anyone had any experience with getting student discounts on flights?

I really need to go up to Dundee soon and the need the cheapest flight possible. I just wondered if anyone could suggest a decent airline to go with and what sort of prices I'd be looking at.

Cheers.

The only airlines that do domestic flights to Dundee are flybe from Birmingham or CityJet to London City. You won't get a student discount though, there are no such things with airlines as far as I'm aware.

Never heard of students discounts on flights....its not like that happen everyday so i take it the cheapest is some budget airline.

Dont think you'll get a discount, but SkyScanner.net is a decent search engine,.

Maybe I'm using the wrong word or something but there's definitely some sort of discount (as long as your under 25 I think it is and still studying) I'll have to speak to someone about.

No such thing as a cheap flight to Dundee, just some times are better for booking than others. You might be better/cheaper flying Birmingham to Edinburgh then getting the train up to Dundee, it should only take you about an hour on the train and somewhere between 30-60 minutes on the airport bus from Edinburgh depending on the traffic.
