Hi all

I'm on the 3 network (yes I know!) and have a Nokia 6680 3G phone.

Thing is I'm fed up with the phone, its crap!

So I wanna buy a Motorola V3 of a m8, get it unlocked and use that instead.
I had a Motorola V500 a while back and prefered it to this stupid 6680.

Am I OK to do this?
Is there any technical or network reason why I cannot?

I dont think the V3 is 3G or a smart phone, will that cause a problem?

Any advice appreciated :)

Oh!

So what your saying is I can only replace my phone with another 3G handset?

What if I called 3 and told them I was very unhappy with my phones performance and wanted to change. Would they care or just tell me I'm stuck with what I've got..

Forgive me for being a bit stoopid but I take it 3 only do 3G phones? or do they have a 2G setup too, that I could change to.

So I'm stuffed then :(

As for why I dont get on with the 6680, its just a lot of minor things that add up to the fact its definately not a what I'd call a SMART phone. Oh and I've seen a slug move faster than the 6680 going thru its menus, or retrieving data. It gives SLoooooooW a new meaning

Thanks
Mick
