Whilst I know remote desktop is an option, there are certain times when I would just like to be able to control either of my 2 pcs with my MS Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo...

The wirless control unit connects to my pc via 1 usb and 1 PS2 port. Previously when I used wired devices, I have a 2 pc KVM which worked fine.. is there a similar device I could use that would enable the use of my wirelss combo...??

Would a simple KVM Switch that would allow the connection of the 1 usb and 1 PS2 input suffice, or as they are wireless, would there be more to it...??

The only thing I can think of, is that there would be a delay in be able to use the evices while the wirelss signal re-established itself due to the mementary loss of power during the switchover...

Anyone know...???

Thanks

The KVM should work fine,

The signal should reconnect as soon as power is given back to the wireless reciever but if not you can get KVM units that you can plug in.. i should imagine this would solve the problem.

I have done this with a Belkin 4 port KVM and sometimes have problems with the keyboard (Logitech). The mouse always works OK.

If you look on another well known etailers website, esomething, and look uder the KVM sections, you'll see reviews about people using the Linksys KVM with Microsoft wireless desktop who say it works fine.
