Old GF had an E reg XS. We had matching 205s, I had a GTI at the time.

Quite a nippy little motor. Can't remember when they changed them to the little twin webber. Can't remember what carb my GF had - Solex??? Wasn't the Webber one.

As for the question maybe he is taking the Bollywood style advert for the 206 too seriously. "Yes mate, driver really fast into a wall and get an elephant to sit on it and it might look like a 206"
