Can I delete these programs

Just having a clean up on C drive - Just started on "Programs and features"

and came across these.

Yes. A program might require them, and if so ought to prompt for them to be reinstalled (if not, if a program stops working suddenly, you know to reinstall these), but it's not going to affect the vast majority of programs.

You're not going to gain much in the way of speed or space from removing them though.

Some will be related to games I beleive so will stop working if removed

These will be instalked by games throught steam when you first ran them.
Removal will probably result in fail to run or crashing.

for the size they take up you may as well leave them installed.

games use them as well as some apps and if you remove them you may find they will stop working

Leave them, various games and programs use them. Think of them as libraries of instructions that the programs use to work.

i wish Microsoft, would seprate these in to a Libary tab or at least condense them

so 64Bit/x86 are on the same line, then popup on click to choose which to install/unistall.

makes programs list so messy.

Thanks for the info - One thing is I am not a gamer so seem to be redundant for me- I will leave them unless someone can say yes bin them.

As said in overall scheme of things they are not big files.
