Can I delete this folder? (Nprotect)

I was cleaning out my PC recently and I came across a slightly odd folder. The folder is C:\RECYCLER\NPROTECT and it doesn't appear unless I show hidden files and show protected operating system files. I'm guessing it's something to do with Norton Systemworks which I had installed a while back (shudder...). It's a pretty big folder, 500MB or so, so does anyone know if there'd be any reason I couldn't delete it?

just did a quick search, and looks normal

Yes, it's safe to delete.

If you don't use the Norton Protected Recycle Bin, it might be worth your time disabling it (Right-click Recycle Bin > Properties).

Thanks for the advice guys, I think I'll delete it. I'm not still using SystemWorks by the way, I got rid of that crap a good while ago
