Can I develop Apps on a Windows OS?

Hi,

I am wanting to get into developing apps mainly as a hobby and the only Apple products I have ever used are iPhones and iPads.

The computer I have at the moment is a Windows 10 laptop so I was wondering will I need a Mac computer/laptop to develop apps?

No, you must use a device running OSX.

Theoretically you could do it on a Windows PC via a virtual machine, but I have no idea how usable or reliable that would be.
