as title really, since i got my new mobo and x2 chip i have had this annoying 'you are running low on disk space' balloon popping up.

that is the only thing that i have changed in the past couple of weeks, haven't re-installed windows, simply re-activated it. why is it doing this to me?

anyway, more to the point, is there a setting that i can disable, or some for of magic i can do to make this stop??

cheers.

Go to start>Run>regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Right click on the right and click New>DWORD Value. Name it NoLowDiskSpaceChecks

Double click NoLowDiskSpaceChecks and change the value to 1.
