Looking at a Fuji X30 for general use, these have come down in price and I can pick one up for £260 but wondered if you experts knew of a better camera for sub £300?
tbh I'm not sure why anyone would spend £260 on the X30. It's heavier and larger than its competition and has a much smaller sensor. The RX100 is cheaper, and the RX100 II and the Canon G7X can be had for not much more.
As above, the RX100 provides better image quality and is actually pocketable unlike the X30. For a so called compact its massive with a small sensor at its heart.
