Can I do this in iTunes?

Ok, so I have a load of compilation albums, and my 'Artists' list in the column browser is a complete mess because one compilation album can have up to 30 different artists.

Is there any way to stop artists from compilation albums showing in this list? I suppose that would be kind of stupid but I just wondered.

I think I worked it out. I selected all of the songs from the compilation, right clicked, get info, options, compilation album = yes.

Hurrah. Been wondering this for years.
