Can I download a game from PSN using a code fro ma retail copy?

I've had my copy of the last of us shipped to the wrong address (my parents house) and won't be around to collect it. Can I get them to email me a code from the box to allow me to download the game so I won't have to wait or is that not possible?

No, there's no such code.

You could however buy it via the PS Store and return your physical copy. Obviously not ideal, but the download price is at least fairly reasonable for this one.

I'm borrowing the PS3 off of a friend to play the game, so I can't really do that.
